I was going to vote for Mimi Walters because of her endorsments, but after reading your letter I changed my mind. Mr. Sidhu, I am particularly concerned about the recent scandals and corruption that is plaguing Orange County. We need someone to clean it up... I have contacted Ms. Walter's office about these important issues and they don't appear to have any sort of plan to restore the integrity of our system. In fact, they tried to make excuses for the OC Fair Board Members. I found that quite alarming. I love my country and I do not want to see my home state run like a banana republic while my elected representatives stand by and do nothing... Mr. Sidhu. If no one fights for integrity in government nothing else really matters. The fish rots from its head and, if not cut out, the disease will be the downfall of all of us and our children. We are looking to a change of course. I hope that you can bring about this change and gradually turn the ship around.

I very nice young man came to my door the other day with your brochure. We talked for quite a while and I was impressed with his knowledge of your ideals... We don't pay our teachers enough and then complain that we are losing good teachers to industry. It just isn't right. They are hired to teach the next generation of Americans and the state does all it can to undermine their efforts. Education should be at the top of the funding list, not the bottom! Harry, you have my vote! Your position on illegal immigration is correct. We must stop it and actively deport illegals. Growing up in Ca I have seen the decline of our cities, schools, hospitals and all public services which have been overwhelmed and degraded by illegal aliens. Mr Sidhu, I will pledge my vote to you. Additionally, I will ask my friends and colleagues to do likewise... I feel betrayed by my party these past several years. Not only have they rolled over on immigration issues again and again, but they spend MY money worse than my ex-wife. Government is to protect us. Nothing more. There are too many programs that just continue on because it is political suicide to oppose them. We need to take back our State. I love California, but I am finding it hard to live here. Your views regarding securing our borders and protection of property rights are in line with my beliefs. I am dismayed with the state of the state of California and hope that someone cares enough to get us back to where California was years ago. I have lived here more than 50 years and am thinking about retiring elsewhere. I feel dejected, neglected, and overtaxes. What I pay for gasoline should have never been allowed and education is not given the importance it deserves. I am frustrated and hope for a candidate I can believe in.

Ms Walter's ad was very misleading and did raise questions which caused me concern. As a fellow SOAR member, you can count on my support. Do you have signs or other material I can post for you? The only problem I have is letting you off the City Council because we need you there...
