I am committed to ensuring the highest level of police and fire protection through an efficient public safety system. This has been demonstrated by my record in support of keeping our neighborhoods safe and anti-graffiti efforts.
By way of example, family violence contributes to many social, educational and health problems on a broad scale. Innovative facilities like the Anaheim Family Justice Center provide effective, coordinated services and support to people whose lives have been impacted by child abuse, domestic violence, elder/dependent adult abuse or sexual assault.
Such a facility has a long-term positive impact on communities given the multidisciplinary approach provided by on-site partners: Anaheim Police Department; Anaheim City Attorney’s Office; Orange County District Attorney’s Office; Orange County Social Services; CSP Victim Assistance Programs; Women’s Transitional Living Center (WTLC); and Chapman University School of Law (Family Violence Legal Clinic).
